Minimum Wage increase for Nova Scotia, Canada

Effective 1st October 2011, the minimum wage will increase in Nova Scotia.

The minimum wage will increase by 3.6% from $9.65 to $10.00 per hour.  There will also be an increase in the minimum wage for inexperienced workers (those with less than 3 months experience in the work in which they were employed) to $9.50 per hour.
