Minimum Wage increase for British Columbia, Canada

For the first time in a decade, the minimum wage in British Columbia has been increased.

Starting on 8th of May, the first of three 75 cents per hour increase will come into effect, with two further increase over the next twelve months.  By May 2012, the current $8.00 hourly rate will increase to $10.25 per hour.
